Saturday I had scheduled a 7-mile hike for the club at Mohican State Park, which is about an hour north of Columbus. I admit, I was a little nervous about it. So in pondering things I'd like to do in London, naturally I decided that I absolutely have to visit the zoo! As a docent at the good old Columbus Zoo & Aquarium it is my SWORN DUTY to check out other zoos and buy pins from their gift shops to put on my badge lanyard. I'm just going to stop apologizing for it being a long time between updates, okay?  My fandom online presence is elsewhere these days and updating is sometimes a hassle but I'll try to do it periodically and we'll all just make our peace with that.

Next week, my parents are packing up and moving back to Wisconsin. They are leaving their coach RV there with a dealer who will be selling it for them (we hope). They have bought a house in Janesville and they ought to be getting back there next Friday or Saturday. I know they have mixed feelings about this.
